Travis McCabe of Holowesko has won the fourth stage of the Tour of Utah.

Stage four was from Im Flash to Kearns  and was 154kms long. It started with Matteo Del Cin and former Team Sky rider Danny Pate now of Rally, in a break until Alexander Cataford went off the front.

That break from the field of 108 riders, was ended and Busche, Irishman Eddie Dunbar, Hayden McCormick, Tanovitchi, Dahl, Lewis and Pate took over with Matthew Busche taking the first sprint.

With a lead of two minutes after seventy kilometres, Busche took the second sprint at Mointain View.

The gap came down to a minute so McCormick of One Pro Cycling attacked with Dunbar, Busche and Pate going with him leaving the rest to be engulfed by the peloton led by race leader Lachlan Morton.

With 24kms left, the gap was hovering around the thirty second mark and as they started on the three 6.5km circuits around Kearns, the break was caught.

The race went under 5000 feet for the first time this week and Beyer led and then Elle Gesbert who went over the finish line with two laps to go.

He was joined by a group of twelve riders before Tanner Putt suffered a mechanical and had to drop out of the break, which was quickly brought back.

Gesbert of Fortuneo Vital Concept attacked again and took Ben King, a former USA national champion with him.

Dylan Theuns of BMC passed the pair and led until British rider Jonathan Dibbens brought the peloton up to him on a fast lead to the finish which saw speeds of 85kmh.

Under the flam rouge and a Unitedhealthcare rider had the lead. Up came Travis McCabe of Holowesko on the left and he took the win in 3.26.36 with Kiel Reijnen in second place and Seb Haedo in third place.

Lachlan Morton keeps his leaders jersey.
