Chris Froome has said that his victory in the Critérium du Dauphiné for the third time had provided massive satisfaction.
"Massive satisifaction," said Chris Froome, being interviewed after winning the race by twelve seconds ahead of Romain Bardet of AG2R and Irishman Dan Martin of Etixx Quick Step.
"I hoped to be fighting for the yellow and to be sitting here and wearing it on the final day is really something.
"The team helped me all the way, working to control things right to the end.
"The win boosts my morale, there is a lot of work to do before July but all the right signs are there."
