Geraint Thomas will get the chance to be a team leader with Team Sky at the Santos Tour Down Under.
The experienced Welshman, who is seen by many as a future Tour De France winner, leads a seven man team for the race in Australia from January 16th to January 24th.
Thomas will be joined by fellow Brits Ian Stannard, Luke Rowe, Ben Swift and Peter Kennaugh as well as Sergio Hennao and italian Salvatore Puccio.
Norwegian Kurt Arvesen will manage the team during the race.
