England Win Tainted Test

England finished off Pakistan this afternoon at The Oval to win the test series 3-1.

In a test that had become tainted following allegations in the News Of The World of three blatent no balls being bowled for a payment of £150k, England took the six wickets they needed to win by an innings and 225 runs.

Pakistan resumed on 41-4 after being forced to follow on after making 74 in their first innings and it was Graeme Swann who took five wickets which helped to reduce the tourists to 147 all out.

Warwickshire's Jon Trott who made a superb 184 which along with 169 from Stuart Broad that put England in a winning position, also took a catch.

Tomorrow, Warwickshire face Scotland at Edgbaston in a Pro40 game with play due to start at 1.45pm then on Tuesday, Warwicks are back to County Championship action with a vital home game against Kent.
