Dylan Gronewegen of LottoNL-Jumbo has won the HeistePijl in Belgium.
A 195km race from Turnhout to Heist-op-den-Berg, where a strong field faced eight laps of 17.5 kms saw nobody able to break clear in the first hour of racing.
Five riders did get clear after eighty kilometres but this break did not last and a new break of thirteen riders formed.
Every rider in this gorup was intent on attacking each and on the final lap, what was left of the peloton closed them down whilst the remenants of the lead group carried on attacking each other.
Sean De Bie led going into the final kilometres but it was Dylan Groenewegen who sprinted to the victory with Wouter Wippert second and Aidis Kruopis third.
