Warwickhire County Cricket Club ended up drawing with Surrey on the fourth day of their County Championship game at Guildford.

Surrey started the day on 269-7 and Keith Barker and Boyd Rankin both mopped up the tailenders including Ricky Ponting who had made 52 to see the home side all out for 274 in 85.4 overs.

The follow on was enforced and Surrey had made 46 before Harinath was caught by Varun Chopra off the bowling of Jeetan Patal for 26.

Vic Solanki made eighteen before being caught behind by Tim Ambrose his fifth wicket and with the score on 161, Ambrose, the Warwickshire wicketkeeper caught Rory Burns, who had hit 85 runs to give Rankin his fifth wicket in the match.

Patal had de Bruyn caught for 19 by Chopra.as Surrey ended the day on 234-4 and the match was drawn.
