Bell & Woakes Play In England Defeat

Warwickshire duo Ian Bell and Chris Woakes played in England's One Day International defeat to South Africa which saw the series end in a 2-2 draw.

England, without Jon Trott who has a fractured hand, batted first at Trent Bridge and although Alistair Cook made 51 and Chris Woakes 33, the likes of Ian Bell only made ten as England were bowled out for 182.

Hashim Amla hit 97 for South Africa as the tourists won by seven wickets with 93 balls to spare.

England did however, retain the NatWest Trophy.
