The BBC and the London & Surrey Cycling Partnership have today announced a three-year extension of their contract up to and including the 2019 Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling.
The deal gives the BBC exclusive UK broadcast rights to the world’s greatest festival of cycling across all platforms, including TV, radio and digital.
The new agreement covers the period 2017 to 2019 inclusive. BBC Sport has been the host broadcaster of the event since the first Prudential RideLondon in 2013 and more than 100,000 riders are expected to participate in seven different events in the fourth edition of the event this weekend, with millions of pounds being raised for charity.

The 2016 Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling takes place over the weekend of 29-31 July with exclusive live coverage across BBC One, BBC Two, Radio 5 live and BBC Red Button.
