Warwickshire Bears beat Gloucestershire by seven wickets at Bristol tonight in a T20 Midlands/Wales/ West game.

Paul Best took 3-19 from four overs after the home side were reduced to 122-7 in their twenty overs.

Dan Housego top scored for Gloucestershire with an unbeaten 59.

Warwicks batted and lost Rikki Clarke after he made nine. Varun Chopra and Jim Troughton then went on to make a partnership of 69 before the Stratford Upon Avon man was caught and bowled by Muralitharan.

Darren Maddy scored one run and faced five balls but Chopra who finished unbeaten on 56 and Laurie Evans 16 as Warwicks won with eleven balls to spare.

Warwicks are away to Northamptonshire at Northampton on Friday. Play is due to start at 6.50pm
