Another Double Century For Chopra Again

Warwickshire County Cricket Club had a cracking day in the sun at New Road, Worcester and Varun Chopra became the first ever Warwickshire player to hit two double centuries in sucessive County Championship matches.

Resuming their second innings on 76-0 and they added twelve more before Ian Westwood was out caught for 23.

Varun Chopra took the score along and he scored forty of the fifty runs before Will Porterfield was out for ten.

Chopra and Mohammed Yousuf took the Worcestershire bowling to pieces hitting 185 before the overseas player was out for 81.

Chopra had already passed the hundred mark and carried on until the end of play to end the day on 223 not out from 352 balls after hitting 32 fours and one six and Warwicks on 411/3, some 237 runs ahead.
