Andre Greipel Wins Tour De Luxembourg Stage One

Lotto Soudal's Andre Greipel has taken the victory on Stage One of the Skoda Tour De Luxembourg.

Jempy Drucker of BMC was in the leader's jersey for this 170km stage from Luxembourg City to Hesperange which included two category two climbs.

Three riders in Durette, Van Empel and Felliu were in the break and 2.20 ahead with a sixty kilometres to go.

That was down to 1.50 with 77kms but the trio kept battling and stayed away until there was six kilometres to go.

The sprint was on and it was Andre Greipel who beat Adam Blythe to take the victory.
