Will Team Sky's recent dominance of the British National Road Race Championship end this afternoon?

Team Sky have had a winner for the last three years in Geraint Thomas (2010), Sir Bradley Wiggins (2011) and Ian Stannard in 2012 and have entered six riders including the defending champion, Josh Edmondson, Peter Kennaugh, Luke Rowe, Ben Swift and Jonathan Tiernan-Locke into the race which will be riden by 140 riders including Mark Cavendish, Andy Fenn, David Millar, Russell Downing, Kristian House, Ian Bibby and Mark McNally,

The course which centres around Glasgow Green, is a 14.2km course which the male riders will negotiate thirteen times and with its mix of climbs, especially the one in Montrose Street, criterium circuit and roads, it is hard to say whether this will favour the sprinters, the climbers or those who specialise in criteriums.
