Wiggins Wins Poland Stage,.Weening Wins The Race

Sir Bradley Wiggins won the Time Trial on the final stage of the 70th Tour Of Poland but it was Orica Green Edge's Pieter Weening who took the race overall.

Taylor Phinney of BMC had set the early best time of 47:50 on a 37 km stage from Wieliczka to Krakow, before Fabian Cancellera came home in a time of 47.36.

The rolling course was undertaken by 113 riders and proved no obstacle for Bradley Wiggins who knocked a minute off Cancellera's time.

Out on the course was race leader AG2R's Christophe Riblon. Pieter Weening who started 24 seconds down on the Frenchman came in 1.24 down on Wiggins but when Riblon arrived home in 49.03, the race was the Dutchman's.
