Bradley Wiggins won the time trial at the final stage of the Volta Ao Algarve.
Wiggins (pictured above), wearing the kit of the British Time Trial Champion, beat Tony Martin by 0.7 of a second to record his first victory of the new season on a 25.8km stage from Lagoa to Portimão.
Wiggins' team-mate Richie Porte finished third some thirteen seconds back but it was enough to give the race with Wiggins finishing third.
British and Irish placings - Bradley Wiggins 3rd, Nicholas Roche 14th, Phillip Deignan 34th, Mark Christan 76th, Ronan McLaughlin 120th, Tomás Swift-Metcalfe 139th out of 139 to complete the race
Team Sky won the team event.
