Wiggins Proud To Wear The British Jersey

New British Road Race Champion Bradley Wiggins has said that he will be proud to wear the British jersey in the Tour De France which starts on Saturday.

Wiggins, won the Championship by beating fellow Team Sky team-mates Geraint Thomas who won it in 2010 and Peter Kennaugh by 35 secons in the 122.5 miles race in Northumbria yesterday, added the title to that of British Time Time Champion.

He told reporters: "I wear that time-trial jersey with absolute pride and now to go into the Tour and battle through in the British champion's jersey it's going to be fantastic."
