Bradley Wiggins has been given third place in the 2009 Tour De France.

Wiggins, who rode at the time for Garmin, finished fourth in the 2009 race which started in Monaco.

Now that all of Lance Armstrong's Tour De France victories have been discredited, race organisers ASO have given Wiggins a place on the podium.

Meanwhile,  Steven de Jongh who worked with Wiggins at Team Sky has left the team. De Jongh, in his interview for his position for the team which has taken a very public anti doping stance, admitted that he had taken a banned substance.
