Wiggins Back For Tour Of Poland

Sir Bradley Wiggins will return to road racing in the Tour of Poland, his Team Sky have announced.

Wiggins suffered a knee injury in the Giro D'Italia following a crash and along with a chest infection was forced to withdraw from not only the Italian classic but the Tour De France as well.

The Tour Of Poland starts on July 27th in Italy with a stage from Rovereto to Madonna di Campiglio, followed by a second stage from Marilleva Val di Sole to Passo Pordoi.

After transfering to Poland, the race restarts on July 30th in Kraków where the race ends on August 3rd.

Wiggins will also compete in the World Time Trial Championships in Italy on September 22nd and the Tour of Britain.
