Wiggins Back For The Vuelta

Last updated : 15 August 2011 By Kev Monks

Bradley Wiggins is back to ride the Vuelta D' Espana which starts on Saturday.

Wiggins broke his collar bone during the Tour De France last month but has recovered after an operation and will ride for a Team Sky team which provisionally includes Brits Chris Froome and Ian Stannard which will compete in Grand Tour which starts in Benedorm and finishes in Madrid on September 11th.

Team Sky are expected to announce the departure of eleven of their riders later this week which won't include Geraint Thomas (Pictured below) who signed a new deal in July.

They are, if all the rumours are correct, expected to be replaced by Mark Cavendish and some of his HTC Highroad team mates including Bernie Eisel.
