Wiggins & Cavendish In For Tour Of Qatar

Team Sky's Bradley Wiggins and HTC Highroad's Mark Cavendish are amongst the top names that will compete in the 10th Tour Of Qatar which starts on Sunday.

The opening stage gets underway with a 2km Individual Time Trial prologue around the Cultural Village on Sunday before the race starts properly with a 145.5km stage from Dukhan - Al Khor Corniche.

Stages from Camel Race Track to Doha Golf Club, Al Wakra to Mesaleed, West Bay Lagoon to Al Kharaitiyat, ends on February 11th with the final stage from Sealine Beach Resort to Doha Corniche.

There are a number of other British cyclists alongside Wiggins and Cavendish in the race.

Team Sky are including Jeremy Hunt, Ian Stannard, Alex Dowsett and Russell Downing. Roger Hammond will ride for Team Garmin-Cervelo, Matt Brammier rides for HTC, whilst An Post Sean Kelly include English riders Mark McNally and Andrew Fenn and Irish riders Mark Cassidy and Sam Bennett.
