Westwood Hits Unbeaten 150

Ian Westwood hit an unbeaten 151 on the opening day of Warwickshire County Cricket Club's County Championship game at Yorkshire.

The day started badly at Headingley with Varun Chopra out caught by Hodd with out a run on the board but Westwood was in great form and worked with Will Porterfield to sees Warwicks on 91-1 at lunch.

Four runs later and Porterfield went for thirty five caught by Hodd to give Tim Bresnan a second wicket.

Laurie Evans added fourteen before being trapped lbw by Patterson and Bresnan claimed his third wicket when he had Sam Hain who had made a half century out lbw.

Westwood had passed the one hundred mark and reached his 150, finishing 151 not out at stumps in a Warwicks score of 270-4.
