Weber: We Should Have Tested Their Goalie More

Coventry Blaze coach Chuck Weber felt that his side should have tested the Panthers goal-minder more in their 5-0 defeat in Nottingham.

Weber told the Blaze website: "I thought we played a great road first period and out-shot them 13-10.

"But then we took an offensive zone penalty and they made it 1-0 and then they scored again on the transition. Four of their goals were on the transition so we need to clean that up.

"We started losing our men, we puck watched and stopped moving our feet. These are the fine lines we are walking.

"Their goalie was solid and made all the saves but I don't think we got enough traffic in front of him and we should have tested him more. We need to refocus now for the weekend."
