Coventry Blaze Coach Chuck Weber paid credit to his side for a four point weekend following the 4-2 win over Sheffield Steelers on Sunday night.
Weber told the Blaze website: "To beat the co-number one teams in this league in a back-to-back series, all the credit goes to the boys, it was a gutsy effort.
"Our penalty kill and Brian Stewart were fantastic tonight. We got timely goals but I don't think we created as much offence as we are capable of.
"I thought they really dominated the pace of play, especially because of the number of kills that we had, but I couldn't be more proud of the boys for coming up with a huge four points."
