Jonathan Webb made his County Championship debut for Warwickshire in their game against Middlesex at Lords.

Rain meant there was no play until 3pm and Middlesex won the toss and put Warwicks into bat.

They made thirty seven before Varun Chopra was caught by Rayner for fourteen, to give Steven Finn a wicket.

Jonathan Webb came in for his County Championship debut but he lasted only thirty one balls, scoring fourteen runs when he was caught by Robson to give Finn a second wicket which became three when the pair combined again to remove Ateeq Javid who had made eighteen.

That left Warwicks on 56-3 but Jon Trott and Laurie Evans came together and steered Warwicks through to stumps by taking the score onto 148-3.
