Warwickshire Finish Off Durham

Warwickshire County Cricket Club beat Durham by eight wickets on the final day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.

Durham resumed on 189-4, following on and were soon losing wickets with Ricky Clarke removing Collingwood for 19 and Barker having Mustard caught by Porterfield for eight.

Mark Stoneman had battled his way to 111 but was run out before Clarke had Coughlin, who had made 49 caught by Porterfield.

Clarke had a third wicket when he had Hastings caught by Jon Trott and Barker had a fifth when Rushworth was caught for nineteen to see Durham 327 all out and Warwicks needing 63 to win.

Warwicks lost Will Porterfield for two when he was caught by a substitute off the bowling of Rushworth and Jon Trott was run out for six.

Ian Westwood made an unbeaten 32 and Laurie Evans was 13 not out with ten extras as Warwicks reached the total with eight wickets in hand.
