Warwickshire County Cricket Club trail by five hundred runs at the end of the second day of their County Championship game against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
Notts resumed on 404-5 and lost Wood for 12, Patel for 46, Hutton for 37, Read for 69 and Gurney for a duck with Ball 49 not out as they were skittled out for 600 in 140.3 overs.
Warwicks went into bat and lost both Ian Westwood and Will Porterfield to be 2-2 and both openers out.
Jon Trott came in and added eight runs before he was lbw to Ball and with the score on 41, Sam Hain went for 25.
Laurie Evans who was unbeaten on 39 and Tim Ambrose on 18 not out saw Warwicks through to 100/4 at the close.
