Warwicks Thrash Worcestershire In One Day Cup

Warwickshire County Cricket Club thrashed Worcestershire by eight wickets in a Royal London One Day Cup tie at Edgbaston.

Ricky Clarke got stuck into the Worcestershire batsmen and took five wickets as the visitors were reduced to 17-6.

Two wickets from Jeetan Patal and one each from Recordo Gordon and Oliver Hannon-Dalby ensured that Worcestershire were all out for 115 in 38.2 overs.

Warwicks put on 34 before losing Sam Hain who had made 21 and six runs later Jon Trott went for four but Will Porterfield hit an unbeaten 37 and Tim Ambrose an unbeaten 54 from 42 ball to see Warwicks home with an eight wicket win.
