Warwicks Take First Innings Lead

Warwickshire County Cricket Club took a first innings lead on the second day of their County Championship game with Durham at Edgbaston.

Warwicks resumed on 273-8 and lost Jeetan Patal for 27 and Chris Wright for 24 to end their innings on 313.

Chris Woakes got stuck into Durham and recorded figures of 9-36 in 20.4 overs to see Durham all out for 190 with Stoneman top scoring with 36.

Some 123 runs ahead, Warwicks went into bat again and were 15-2 at stumps with Woakes out for four and Chris Wright for a duck.
