Warwickshire County Cricket Club were set 225 to win on the third day of their County Championship game with Somerset at Taunton.

Warwicks resumed on 180-7 and Jeetan Patal and Laurie Evans added another 106 before Evans was bowled by Jack Leach for 73.

Nine runs later and Jeetan Patal who had taken his score onto 98 was stumped by Ronchi to give Leach his seventh wicket and figures of 7-106 from forty overs.

It was Allenby who took the final wicket of Oliver Hannon-Dalby and Warwicks were all out for 324.

Warwicks got stuck into Somerset with Marcus Trescothwick caught by Chopra off the bowling off Keith Barker for six.

Barker bowled Abell for one and then had James Hildreth trapped lbw for a duck to leave Somerset on 9-3.

Enter Jeetan Patal, who then took the wicket of every other Somerset batsman including Tommy Cooper who top scored with twenty six, to give himself figures of 7-38 from 14 overs and reduce Somerset to 110 all out.

That meant that Warwicks needed 225 to win and they were 20-0 after eleven overs at stumps.
