Warwicks Seconds In The Field

Warwickshire Second Eleven fielded on the opening day of their three day game with Lancashire at Coventry & North Warwicks Cricket Club.

At Binley Road, Lancs batted first and Harmeed and Proctor put on 101 for the opening wicket.

It was Proctor who was caught by Chris Woakes off the bowling of Tom Milnes.

In the next over, Josh Poyseden came in and had Livingstone trapped lbw with out scoring and then in the next over, back came Milnes to have Harmeed caught by Will Porterfield for 33.

Lancs captain Smith added 32 before he was caught by Thomason to give Riccardo Gordon a wicket and Poyseden had a second wicket when he had Parry caught for 26 by Oliver Hannon-Dalby.

At the other end, Jones was in good form as he made a century from 176 balls in 241 minutes with twelve fours and a six but he was out for 107 to give Poyseden a fourth wicket and his partnership of 220 was over.

When Poyseden had Edwards stumped by McKay for a duck. Lancs declared on 333-7.
