Warwickshire Second Eleven left it late to bowl out Durham on the opening day of their match at Durham.

The hosts batted first and although some of the play was affected by rain, the home side were able to put runs on the board.

Milnes had Clark caught by Javid and Adair trapped Stoneham lbw but Muchall and Poynter started to pile on the runs.

Muchall hit a century from 113 balls in 143 minutes including 19 fours and put on a third wicket partnership of 192 before he was bowled by Tom Milnes after making 141.

However, late in the final session, back came Warwickshire.

Singh bowled Hickey who had made thirty, Riccardo Gordon bowled Budge for a duck, Singh bowled Poynter for 119 and Josh Poyseden had Arshad lbw for eight and Carsden out for a duck.

Bousfield was stumped by McKay without scoring and then Poyseden bowled McCarthy as Durham crashed to 350 all out.

Warwicks ended the day on 10-0.
