Warwicks Lose To Yorkshire

Warwickshire County Cricket Club were beaten by 174 runs against Yorkshire in a County Championship match at Edgbaston.

Warwicks needing 434 or to bat all day to avoid defeat, resumed on 43-1.

Fifteen runs in and they lost Jon Trott for 29 and then Laurie Evans for a duck.

Sam Hain did his best to move the score on with Ian Westwood and the pair put on 51 before Westwood was out for 40, trapped lbw to Sidebottom.

McKay went for two, Clarke for 18 and Patal for thirteen before Brooks bowled Chris Wright for six and Sidebottom bowled Oliver Hannon-Dolby for eight for his fifth wicket

At the other end, Sam Hain had made 106 from 195 balls including seventeen fours and a six but Bresnan bowled him and Warwicks were all out for 259 and a defeat by 174 runs.
