Warwickshire County Cricket Club are in the lead after play on the second day of their County Championship game against Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston.

Warwicks thanks to two wickets from Keith Barker and two from Jeetan Patal finished off the Notts innings with only twenty seven runs being added and Notts all out for 152.

Jake Ball did some early damage to Warwicks, removed Varun Chopra for two, Andrew Umeed for a duck and Ian Bell for ten to see Warwicks on 28-3.

Twenty more runs were added before Jon Trott was trapped lbw by Hutton after making eighteen.

Sam Hain and TIm Ambrose came together with Hain making 39 and Ambrose 72.

Keith Barker added 21 before being stumped by Mullaney and Ricky Clarke hit 74 as Warwicks made it to 283-8 to lead by 131 runs with two wickets remaining.
