Warwickshire County Cricket Club bowled out Surrey on the opening day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.

Surrey won the toss and elected to bat and put on 62 before Sibley was caught having made 33 by Ian Westwood off the bowling of Jeetan Patal.

Patal had Burns trapped lbw after the opener had made fifty and at that stage Surrey were on 110-2.

Ansari only added eight before being caught by Laurie Evans and Patal then removed Kumar Sangakkara who had made 47.

With the score on 202, Roy was caught by Tim Ambrose after making sixteen and in the next over, Patal had Davies caught by Ian Bell for 38.

Both the Curran's could only add twelve runs and after Meaker had gone for seven, Barker wrapped up the innings by having Gareth Batty trapped lbw for 27 to see Surrey all out for 252 in 90.2 overs.
