Warwicks Bowl Out Somerset

Warwickshire County Cricket Club bowled out Somerset on the opening day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.

Somerset batted first and had Tom Abell make 104 from 180 balls including 12 fours and a six before he was trapped lbw by Jonathan Trott who picked up two wickets.

Peter Trego hit 94 before he became one of Chris Woakes three victims with Keith Barker taking 3-54 and Boyd Rankin 2-43 as Warwicks bowled the visitor out for 295 in 86.3 overs.

When, Warwickshire batted, they lost Ian Westwood for three and Boyd Rankin for one to close on 27-2.
