Warwickshire County Cricket Club were battling on, on the third day of their County Championship game with Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston.
Resuming on 14-0, Notts had James Taylor make 138 from 203 balls and included 17 fours and Chris Read make an unbeaten fifty for the visitors who ended the day on 254-5.
Keith Barker took four of the Notts wickets to end the day with figures of 4-52.
