Warwicks All Out For 219

Warwickshire County Cricket Club were all out for 219 on the opening day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.

Warwicks needing a win to have any hope of avoid relegation, batted first and straight away lost Ian Westwood without scoring.

Alex Mellor hit 27 before he was out and followed by Jon Trott who had made 25.

Ian Bell made 37 before being trapped lbw by Jarvis who then had Tim Ambrose run out without scoring.

Ricky Clarke chipped in with sixteen runs in a innings which was being propped up by Sam Hain who made 52 from 116 balls before he was out lbw to Proctor.

Keith Barker made 22, Chris Wright 4 but when Jeetan Patal was caught by Hameed after making 32, Warwicks were all out for 219.

Lancs were 14-0 after nine overs at the close.
