Voigt Wins US Pro Cycling Challenge Stage 4

Jens Voigt won the US Pro Cycling Challenge Stage 4 today.

Radio Shack's Jens Voigt broke on the stage, much of it above 9,000ft from Aspen to Beaver Brook and was still away after a chasing group of fifteen riders had been swept up by the peloton which was 2.55 behind with 32.7 miles to go in rainy conditions.

Voigt took the final climb with 14.5 miles to go and was 5.55. ahead as he started on the descent into Beaver Brook, where there were big crowds.

The sun was out as Voigt came home in a time of 3.53.

Second was Klodden with Teejay van Garderen finishing third and taking over the leader's yellow jersey.
