Europcar's Tommy Voeckler won the Route Du Sud this afternoon after finishing safely in the peloton on the final fourth stage.
Voeckler has taken over the leader's jersey with victory on stage three and was comfortably in the peloton on the final 149km stage from Saint-Gaudens from L'Isle-Jourdain.
At speeds of 46.6kmph for the first hour, Pelizotti failed to take any time off Voeckler in the first sprint due to the twelve riders in Madrazo, Dumoulin, LeLay, Frapporti, Bessy, Malacarne, Faucon, Antomarchi, Puccio, Vogondy, Habeaux and Baldauf have escaped.
Antomarchi (La Pomme Marseille), took the second sprint at Chaud as the peloton closed down the escapers to thirty seconds with twenty kilometres remaining.
Marco Frapporti, Vaubourzeix and Team Sky's Christian Knees got clear after their group was bridged and under the flam rouge, their twelve second lead proved enough for Frapporti who got away on his own to win ahead of Napolitano, Giraud, Petit, Roux, Knees, Ja,.Roy, Mourey, Dumoulin and Cardoso.
