Race leader Tejay Van Garderen extended his lead in the US Pro Challenge with victory in the Individual Time Trial.

Vail, in Colorado, played host to the start and finish of the 16.3 km time trial which saw first rider down the ramp Tom Soladay finish in 30.45.

Team Sky's Richie Porte went quicker finishing in 28.34 before Kanstantin Siutsou of Team Sky finished in 26:17 and Andrew Talansky of Garmin-Sharp finished even quicker in a time of 25:05.

BMC's British rider Steve Cummings put in a great ride to finish a minute down on Talansky's time and that was good enough for a provisional second place until Tom Danielson finished in 26.03.
