Ulissi Wins Memorial Marco Pantani

Diego Ulissi riding for the Italian National Team took the victory in the Memorial Marco Pantani race on Saturday

Ulissi, Giovanni Visconti and 2014 Tour De France winner Vincenzo Nibali were part of a break which went clear on the Montevecchio climb.

They stayed away for over sixty kilometres and were still clear in Cesenatico when Diego Ulissi broke free and took the sprint ahead of Visconti and Nibali to win in a time of 4.39.23

Kristian Sbaragli (MTN-Qhubeka) led the peloton containing forty one other riders, home some 31 seconds later.
