German Tony Martin won the Tour Of Beijing this morning in China.

The HTC Rider, who won the opening time trial on Wednesday, kept his seventeen seconds lead ahead of second placed David Millar, third placed Chris Froome and fourth placed Steve Cummings all the way through to the final 118km stage from Tian An Men Square to Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium.

The final stage ended in a bunch sprint and saw Denis Galimzyanov of Katusha take the win ahead of Juan Jose Haedo (Saxo Bank-SunGard) and Elia Viviani (Liquigas).

Speaking to the HTC Highroad Press Office, Martin said:  "Putting on the rainbow jersey was really nice and gave me a lot of confidence coming into this race. I knew I still had good form and I had a really strong team to back me up. I'm really happy that it all worked out."
