Warwickshire's long serving wicket keeper and batsman Tim Ambrose has been awarded a benefit year.
Ambrose said in a press statement: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Edgbaston and looking down the list of names of those who have had a Benefit Year in the past makes me realise just how much of a privilege it is to be afforded this honour by the Club.
“In due course I will confirm what I hope will be an exciting calendar of events and look forward to seeing as many Bears fans as possible at these.
“I would like to thank those members who have supported me during my career and also to thank the Club for the faith it has always shown in me.”
