Team Sky's Geraint Thomas has struck gold at the London 2012 Olympics.
Thomas was part of the GB pursuit team which featured Clancy, Burke and Kennaugh that took on Australia who had Bobridge, O'Shea, Dennis, Hepburn riding for them.
The British team had half a second lead after two kilometres and increased that to 1.4 seconds a kilometre later.
They kept going to win in a time of 3.51.659 with Australia coming home in 3:54.581.
