Coventry Storm have signed Ryan Terry-Daley for another season.

Terry-Daley, rode for the Storm in 2014 and was loaned to Stoke in 2015.

He comes back to Brandon on a 4.72 average having completed the season in strong form in the Potters’ top five.

Terry-Daley said to the Bees website: “I’m as happy as Larry to be back and I’m planning on having my best year yet.

“I want to increase my average, get a heat-leader spot and keep it, and I would also like to get some Premier League rides as well.

“I’m hoping to do my bit to help Coventry win the league. We’ve been close before, but I think 2016 is the year so I can’t wait.

“I’m enjoying my time at home at the moment, getting a sun tan and racing bikes. I’ve won two meetings so far, and written off a bike! But I’m chomping at the bit to come back, saving the pennies and trying for sponsors.”

Terry-Daley is the fourth Coventry asset to be named in the Storm team so far, joining Dan Greenwood, Martin Knuckey and Conor Dwyer, whilst Berwick-owned Liam Carr completes the five riders announced with two to follow.

Promoter Mick Horton said: “We are happy to have Ryan back, his form for Stoke was good and it makes perfect sense for us to use our own assets to help them continue their progress in the sport.”
