Coventry Storm Speedway team were beaten 52-38 at Kent Kings.
The meeting started with a 3-3 before the Storm suffered a 5-1 and 4-2 loss.
Dan Greenwood won in a re-run heat four in a 4-2 but Kent took the next two heats which were followed by three 3-3's.
Richings won heat ten for the Storm who were now 34-26 down but heat eleven finished in a 3-3, before Kent had three 4-2 wins and a 3-3 in the final heat to send the Storm to a heavy defeat.
