Coventry Storm were beaten by Mildenhall in a meeting that was abandoned after ten heats due to the curfew at Brandon.
The Storm were 19-11 down after five heats but in heat six, there was a delay following a terrible incident which saw Sam Bebee taken to hospital.
That delay meant that only ten heats were possible and the result which saw the Storm lose 32-28 stood.
