Coventry Storm beat Buxton on Friday night at Brandon.

The Storm had a 5-1 in the opening heat followed three 4-2's to put them 17-7 up.

Buxton gave Carr a tactical ride and he won in a 7-2 to reduce the lead to three points.

Both sides had a 5-1 before Buxton had a 4-2 and a 3-3 before Halsey won in heat ten to give the Storm a five point lead with a 4-2 heat win.

Two 3-3's were sandwiched by Dwyer winning in a 5-1 and a Richings win and a 3-3 in the final heat meant the Storm took a 52-41 victory.
