Tom Jelte Slagter recorded back to back wins on back to back summit finishes when he took the victory on the fourth stage of the Tour Of Alberta.

Stage Four with Bauke Mollema back in the lead, started and finished in Jasper and was 162.1kms long.

Paul Voss, Logan Owen, Thomas Vaubourzeix  were in the first break and after twenty five kilometres, they had a 2.35 lead on the peloton.

The gap did go out to 5.30 before Trek Factory decided to slowly bring them back and the gap stood at 3.15 after 92kms.

The gap was still at 2.30 with twenty five kilometres left but only fifteen seconds when they started on the final climb.

Logan Owen opted with eleven kilometres left to go on a solo raid, dropping Owen and Voubaurzeix whilst behind him, British rider Scott Thwaites was caught by the peloton out of which broke Ryder Hesjedal and Lachlan Morton pulled away from.

Simon Spilak, who won the Tour De Suisse attacked with the race leader and Lagutin but with 1.5kms remaining, there were fourteen riders in the front group.

Adam Yates of Orica GreenEdge tried to get away with 500 metres to go but Tom Jelte Slagter and Bauke Mollema were able to get past him and Slagter took the win with Mollema second and Yates third,
