Skil Shimano End With A Win

Skil Shimano ended their career in cycling with a victory for Kenny Van Hummel in the The Tour of Hainan.

The Dutchman was the fastest in the 88km final stage sprint and he rode home for his third win in nine stages.

The victory took the total number of victories of Skil Shimano in this season is thirty and is a nice goodbye to the Skil-Shimano outfit who next season will compete as Project 1t4i.

Their team next season, currently consists of 26 riders Six are French, eight are Dutch and seven are German. China is represented with two cyclists, Japan, Belgium and Sweden all with one.

The team consists of: Alexandre Geniez, Matthieu Sprick, Thierry Hupond, Thomas Damuseau, Yann Huguet, Thomas Bonnin (FRA), Simon Geschke, Marcel Kittel, Roger Kluge, John Degenkolb, Patrick Gretsch, Johannes Fröhlinger, Dominic Klemme (GER), Ronan van Zandbeek, Tom Veelers, Roy Curvers, Koen de Kort, Albert Timmer, Tom Dumoulin, Ramon Sinkeldam, Tom Stamsnijder (NED), Feng Han, Ji Cheng (CHI), Bert de Backer (BEL), Yukihiro Doi (JAP) and Tobias Ludvigsson (SWE). The sports staff consists of Christian Guiberteau (FRA), Rudi Kemna, Merijn Zeeman, Marc Reef and Addy Engels (NED).

The UCI women’s team consists of ten cyclists. These are Regina Bruins, Suzanne de Goede, Amy Pieters, Kelly Markus, Anne de Wildt, Adrie Visser, Esra Tromp, Janneke Kanis, Monique van de Ree and Linda van Rijen (all NED). Team leader of the team is Sharon van Essen (NED).
