Second Tour Of Denmark Stage Win For Matti Breschel

Tinkoff Saxo’s Matti Breschel made it two out of two with a second successive victory on the fourth  stage of the 25th Post Danmark Rundt (Tour Of Denmark).

With Lars Bak the new race leader and no Jacob Fuglsang of Astana after his crash yesterday, stage four was 115kms long from Slagelse to Frederiksværk and the first two of two stages today.

British rider Scott Thwaites  was involved in an early break along with Tosh Van Der Sande, Aaen, Benedetti, Bos, De Ketele, Earle, Kragh, Morice, Pedersen, Sbaragli, Tleubayev and Valgren Andersen.

They stayed away until they were inside the final three kilometres and it was Matti Breschel of Tinkoff Saxo who was first over the line to take another stage win ahead of Edvald Boasson-Hagen of MTN Qhubeka, Magnus Corte and Mario Marcato.

Lars Boom continues to lead going into the 13km time trial in Helsingør with a lead of two seconds over Marcato and twelve seconds over Chris Juul Jensen.
